Blue Planet Surf takes you to Mentawai!
« Join the Blue Planet team on their Mentawai Boat trip with a series of daily logs of the trip held in April 2016. Participants on the trip are: Jared Reed (Blue Planet Australia distributor and trip organizer), Robert Stehlik (founder/ designer/ CEO), Pete Freeman (#1 Blue Planet retailer in Australia), John Bly and Steve Dewell (Videographers, Photographers, media), and International team riders:
Ty Judson, Nathan Cross, Skyla Rayner, Fabrice Beaux, Blair Hall.
Also on board was the Pelagic Surf Charters crew that took great care of us. This episode covers traveling to Padang, Indonesia and the first day of the trip, after motoring overnight, we arrived at Lance’s Left before sunrise and scored nice waves all day while a few of us took lickings on the shallow reef.
