Its unique outline encompasses a shorter board outline (8’5” Pro) in the rear half coming in at the middle and then back out to a full nose riding outline. Tight arc turning never seen in a longer SUP is now a reality. Drive and speed are also enhanced with water being accelerated through the accentuated curves fore and aft. A great bonus is that the Nut glides into and catches waves as a 9’5” board!

Makai will be onestep a head sustainability and performance with the new “Full Amplitex” fiber construction. “Amplitex Fiber” is a new fiber used in the stand up paddle world and is made out of 100% natural product. It has already successfully been used in the ski industry last year. This new material offers high compression strength, and damping properties and even the weight is slightly less then using fiberglass. “Amplitex Fiber” gives the Kikino a natural look without additional fiberglass.
