A fast flatwater orientated board raises the bar with increased speed and effciency over the celebrated 2014 models. The bottom shape has been completely updated to offer better versatility in flat water and ocean chop, with cross rockers providing plenty of curves (control), but a flat profile (speed). The complex concave and rail shape dictates at all times where the water should flow under the board to reduce drag, generating bags of acceleration through the Venturi effect. The 2015 model is significantly more stable than last year relative to width, partly due to the new inner deck rail shape that offers a low center of gravity with wider inside standing area and the concave tail.

The World Series 12’6 & 14’0 boards are exact replicas of the boards used by Eric Terrien & Chase Kosterlitz for Beach Races, open ocean racing and “down winders”. They are perfect for use when conditions get rough and require a board that has a unique balance of speed, acceleration and stability. They are exceptionally fast for catching any small bump or swell when charging down wind. Shaped by Patrice Remoiville these boards are characterized by a relatively wide outline from the nose right through to the tail, and a large flat section on the hull of the board. All boards are made in France in BIC Sport’s custom production facility, guaranteeing a weight close to the specs + a controlled shape.
