When it comes to performance touring kayaks, Hurricane has upped the ante with the new Tracer 165. The redesign of this classic kayak has resulted in many deck improvements including a 5.5- inch day hatch just forward of the cockpit and integral deck lines for stiffness and subtle aesthetics. The new Tracer features lap joint construction to reduce weight and provide maximum structural integrity. Additional improvements include adjustable Control Master Thigh Braces, a new wider seat base, and an improved skeg box system. With all this plus a rescue bungee system and full length perimeter deck lines.

The OceanSpirit PE has the highest volume of the Spirit series. It has soft chines and a V-shape hull which makes it easier to handle in the waves. It is a great kayak for general touring, current play, rolling or even moderate open ocean travel and is an excellent choice for a range of paddler sizes with different skill levels. The deck is equipped with one round, one oval, and a round day-hatch in order to easily pack your gear. Our Spirit series is meant for paddlers, who appreciate a quality product that comes at an affordable. All Spirit series kayaks come with either a skeg or rudder/skeg combination.
