Paddle board fishing (aka SUP fishing) can be one of the most effective and rewarding ways to catch fish.

It’s effective because paddle boards allow anglers to have a very stealthy approach similar to kayaks, while having a much higher vantage point allowing you to see fish before they see you.

And it’s rewarding because catching a fish without having to rely on high tech machinery (aka – motors) for transportation is a gratifying feat… while also providing for a fantastic full body workout.

But paddle board fishing does bring on some added difficulties for those who are not used to fishing from a SUP. And trust me, after countless fishing trips out on a paddle board, I have learned a lot from my mistakes…
