SUP on the Kettle River – MN
« Almost clean descent down the Kettle River in MN during Kettle Fest. Fell once at Hell’s Gate. Walked back up and got a clean line on round two. River was flowing at 1,800 cfs this day. Shallow bedrock in Blueberry Slide, but otherwise clean and well distinguished lines. Big class 3, but doable on SUP (with proper experience.) Not very technical at this flow – point and shoot. River is full of undercut banks – stay center when possible.
